Located directly west of the Oliver Monnett monument, the John Thomas Monnett family section (in the Sharpless section of the cemetery) was intended to have a central monument like the Oliver Monnett monument. The plan however was never executed as Monnett had intended in his will. As a result their is no cohesive design to the markers, nor is there a pattern. John Thomas and Minerva Harvey Monnett's stones face west, while the remainder of the plot face north and east. |
